Sculptures shown here are unique and original works by sculptor, Grant R. Logan. Grant was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1940 and grew up in Peoria, Illinois. He earned the BFA and MFA degrees in sculpture at the University of Arizona. As professor of art at Biola University he developed the original 3-dimensional curriculum, built the ceramics and sculpture facility and taught all 3-D courses particularly sculpture. He works in various media including welded steel, modeled clay and cast bronze. He explores both objective and non-objective subject matter in a variety of approaches. His work is represented in various private collections. Grant is currently working in direct wax creating abstract figures that are cast in bronze.
